Through 8 PM, scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will continue to move across northwest Oklahoma. These storms will be capable of producing very strong wind gusts as well as heavy rainfall and frequent lightning as they move east from near Gage and Arnett east to Woodward and Camargo. Between 5:40-5:50 PM CDT, the Mesonet Site at Gage record several gusts between 70 and 85 mph, peaking at 81 mph at 5:45 PM CDT.
Other isolated showers will be possible through sunset across portions of west central into parts of central and southern Oklahoma. This activity may produce some brief heavy rain and gusty winds.
