1:45 PM CDT Oklahoma Weather Update (9/4/2012)

Through 230 PM, scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to develop and move from west to east across extreme northern Oklahoma. Areas that could be impacted by brief light to moderate rain and strong wind gusts extend near and north of Laverne, Buffalo, Freedom, Alva, Cherokee and Medford. The gusty wind, from a northerly direction, will be seen much farther south toward Woodward, Fairview, and Enid. Near these southern areas, a brief and isolated shower may develop but most of any rain activity will be up toward the Kansas border.
