Around 6 PM, widely scattered showers and isolated storms were located from Stroud to Shawnee to Sulphur. The showers were moving west around 20-25 mph. Other isolated showers and storms were located across southwest Oklahoma from Sayre to Hollis. A few of the storms may produce winds to 45 mph, brief heavy rainfall and some occasional lightning. Additional storms will develop through the early evening, then most of the precipitation is expected to dissipate as sunset approaches. I do anticipate more scattered showers and thunderstorms on Monday.
