1030 PM CDT Oklahoma Weather Summary (6/16/2012)

Isolated thunderstorms will continue to affect parts of northern Oklahoma through 11 PM. Some of the storms could become strong for a short time producing small hail and gusty winds. These storms are moving very slowly so very heavy rainfall leading to flooding of poorly drained areas is also a concern. Some locations could receive several inches of rain in a short period of time. Additional showers and thunderstorms will be possible overnight across parts of the area. An area of showers and thunderstorms has developed and is moving across the western Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle. This activity could move into western portions of the area overnight into early Sunday morning.
