Very gusty winds, sometimes over 60 mph, are expected to affect southwest Oklahoma until 1 a.M. These winds are associated with a line of thunderstorms which is moving east across the Texas Panhandle. Heavy rainfall is likely near the Texas/Oklahoma border before the intensity slowly diminishes overnight. A larger area of thunderstorms will likely move into northern Oklahoma overnight. Gusty winds are likely with these thunderstorms as well as a broad area of rainfall in the north part of the state. This area of thundertorms may perist through Friday morning, dominating the weather in central Oklahoma at sunrise.
