Very gusty winds, some in excess of 60-65 mph, are expected to affect southwest Oklahoma late this evening. These are associated with a line of thunderstorms which is moving east across the Texas Panhandle. Heavy rainfall is likely near the Texas/Oklahoma border before the intensity slowly diminishes overnight. A larger area of thunderstorms will likely move into northern Oklahoma overnight. Gusty winds are likely with these thunderstorms as well as a broad area of rainfall in the north part of the state. This area of thundertorms may perist through Friday morning, moving southeast and dominating the weather in central Oklahoma at sunrise.
