430 PM CDT Oklahoma Severe Weather Summary (5/28/2012)

Scattered thunderstorm development is possible across portions of southwest Oklahoma and western North Texas between 4 and 6 PM. This activity is expected to develop along and south of a weak surface stationary front that was located across the area. To the south of the front the atmosphere will remain very unstable through the afternoon hours and any storm that does develop will likely become severe, producing very large hail, damaging wind gusts, frequent lightning and very heavy rainfall.

The most likely locations to see thunderstorm development through 6 PM, will be from near Anadarko and Lawton southwest to near Frederick, Oklahoma as well as near Vernon and Crowell, Texas.
