1:00 PM CDT Oklahoma Weather Summary (5/20/2012)

Around 1 PM, radar indicated scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms extending from Canton Lake to El Reno to Oklahoma City and Chickasha. The showers and storms were moving east and southeast around 25 mph. Showers and thunderstorms should become less numerous by the mid to late afternoon. The cloud cover and precipitation has kept temperatures in the 60s across west central and central Oklahoma through the early afternoon. Temperatures were in the lower and mid 80s across most of southern Oklahoma with 70 degree readings over far northern Oklahoma.
