The atmosphere is becoming more favorable for a few strong to severe storms to develop with this activity. Large hail will be the primary threat along with brief heavy rain and lightning. Additional thunderstorm activity is expected to develop later this afternoon across Oklahoma and western North Texas. Some of this activity will have the potential to become severe, producing large hail, and torrential rainfall.
