Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop and move northeast across portions of northern Oklahoma this evening. Some of these storms could become strong to severe. Large hail and strong wind gusts will be possible with the severe storms. Heavy rain and cloud to ground lightning will be a concern with any of the thunderstorms. Meanwhile, a large area of showers and thunderstorms will continue to move across parts of southwest Kansas and the panhandles. This activity will move into portions of northwest Oklahoma by 10 PM. Strong to severe storms will also be possible with this activity. Showers and thunderstorms will remain possible overnight into Monday morning. Some severe storms will likely develop overnight. Locally heavy rainfall is also expected, especially across the northern half of Oklahoma where the greatest storm coverage is forecast to occur through the overnight hours.
