Thunderstorms will continue to develop and move northeast across portions of northern and west central Oklahoma through midnight. Some of these storms will become strong to severe. Large hail and strong wind gusts will be possible with the severe storms. Heavy rain, that could cause ponding on area roadways and flooding of low-lying areas, will also be a concern. A large area of showers and thunderstorms will continue to move across parts of southwest Kansas and the panhandles into northwest Oklahoma over the next couple of hours. Strong to severe storms will also be possible with this activity. Showers and thunderstorms will remain possible through early Monday morning. Some severe storms will be likely overnight. Locally heavy rainfall is also expected, especially across the northern half of Oklahoma where the greatest storm coverage is forecast to occur through the overnight hours.
