Scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm will move northeast into parts of Knox, Baylor and Archer Counties in western North Texas by midnight. Rainfall amounts with these showers will be light, on the order of a tenth of an inch or less.
Much more rain is expected to arrive later tonight and Monday. A larger area of heavier rain, and scattered thunderstorms, will likewise move northeast from North Texas. This rain will probably arrive shortly after midnight in southern Archer and Clay counties in Texas, and between 1 am and 2 am along the Red River in south-central Oklahoma.
Elsewhere, cloud cover will maintain mild temperatures across central and southern Oklahoma, into western North Texas. Temperatures will be colder, generally near or below freezing in northern Oklahoma.
