This morning skies were overcast in much of the region. An upper level low that has been near Lubbock Texas for a few days…will pick up speed as it moves east through Texas today. Overnight a disturbance had rotated out ahead of the low and pushed light rain showers through much of Oklahoma. At 8 am, showers continued in northern and eastern Oklahoma. Rain was decreasing around Oklahoma City and points to the south and west. The showers are also expected to exit northern Oklahoma, and move farther into eastern Oklahoma during the morning. This will leave a cool and overcast day for most of our region. Temperatures were in the 30s and low 40s this morning, and highs will reach only the upper 40s. Skies will slowly begin to clear in western north Oklahoma and western North Texas, but the clearing may only reach Highway 81 from Enid to Duncan, and over to Wichita Falls by sunset.
