Very light rain will be possible early this morning across portions of western North Texas and far southwest Oklahoma. Through 9 am… light rain or sprinkles may occur from near Vernon and Archer City east to near Frederick and Wichita Falls. Rainfall amounts will be light with a trace to a few hundredths possible. Otherwise, clouds will be on the increase across the area this morning as moisture continues to be pulled northward from the Gulf of Mexico and high clouds move in from the southwest. This is in response to a storm system over the southwest U.S. That will bring rain and snow to Oklahoma and western North Texas beginning tonight and continuing into Tuesday. A mild day is expected today, however much cooler air will slide south across Oklahoma and North Texas on Monday and Monday night.
