A dryline has pushed into western Oklahoma this afternoon and at 130 PM extended from near Woodward to near Hollis. Meanwhile…a weak front had pushed into northwestern Oklahoma from around Alva to gage…with an outflow boundary from morning thunderstorms situated over north central Oklahoma from near Alva to Ponca City. At 250 PM…scattered thunderstorm have developed in the vicinity of the dryline and were moving northeast. The airmass ahead of the dryline remain very unstable this afternoon and these storms are expected to increase in intensity…possibly becoming severe within the next hour or so. The main threats will be very large hail…to the size of baseballs and damaging winds…although isolated tornadoes will be possible. Additional storms are expected to develop in the vicinity of the outflow boundary and front in northern Oklahoma this afternoon and these storms may also become severe.
