This afternoon a weak cold front was moving slowly south through the region. At 130 PM…the front extended from Knox City and Electra Texas to Lawton…Oklahoma City…and Cushing in Oklahoma. Temperatures were mild…in the middle 70s…on both sides of the front. Its main impact will be to shift winds from southwest at 10 to 15 mph…around to the north or northwest…at 10 to 20 mph. By 4 PM…the front is expected to reach Seymour to Wichita Falls…to Purcell and Stroud. High temperatures will reach the the upper 70s and low 80s across the region. There is very little chance of rain…but an isolated shower may form along the eastern portion of the cold front…to the north and east of Ada…late in the day.
