As you can see, there has been an upgrade from the earlier Storm Prediction Center Outlook. Areas from Memphis, TN, southwest to just northeast of Little Rock are now under the gun for a high risk for severe weather. It will be a violent day for areas from just northeast of Dallas along I-30 northeast to Little Rock & I-40 east to Memphis and 50 miles either side of those highways, extending into southeast Oklahoma & northwest Louisiana, these all are areas that have a high risk. I will be posting a blog update shortly on this. But until then, here is the mesoscale discussion detailing why the upgrade.
