An area of scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to move east across the eastern Texas Panhandle into parts of western Oklahoma and western North Texas over the next couple of hours. This activity may begin to move into far western portions of the area by 4 PM. Some of the storms may initially be strong producing small hail and gusty winds. However… a few of the storms may become severe as they continue to move east producing large hail and strong winds. Sprinkles to light rain showers will continue to affect portions of northern and west central Oklahoma through 4 PM. This activity will move northeast affecting locations mainly northwest of a line from Elk City and Watonga… to Enid and Blackwell Oklahoma. Rainfall amounts of a few hundredths of an inch or less are possible.
