Severe thunderstorms… with a primary threat of large hail… will be possible through the overnight hours in portions of southern and central Oklahoma. At 10 PM… though thunderstorms continued across portions of southern Oklahoma and western North Texas…the intensity of these storms had decreased substantially since early evening. New thunderstorm development was occurring from the Oklahoma City Metro area east to Chandler and Stroud… and also in the area west of Wichita Falls Texas. Through the overnight hours… the greatest chance of thunderstorms will be east of a line from Vernon Texas…to Anadarko and Enid Oklahoma. Thunderstorms could produce heavy rain…and will also carry a threat of large hail given adequate elevated instability. Overnight temperatures will be in the 40s in northwest Oklahoma to the upper 60s in southeast Oklahoma.
