PDS Tornado Watch in the Carolinas & Parts of Virginia

A rare east coast PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) Tornado Watch has just been issued for southern Virginia, central and eastern North Carolina, central & eastern South Carolina. The conditions are absolutely primed for a major tornado outbreak, something similar to what we saw in Mississippi & Alabama yesterday. Be on the look out for changing weather conditions. Any significant tornado that does touch down, look for blog entries here. Also follow me on for the latest warnings. If weather threatens, it’s the kind of day to be very cautious out there, with one eye to the sky. Here is the post from the Storm Prediction Center on this significant weather event.
