Confirmed Fatality from Tornado in Bladen County, NC (4/16/2011)


Now 3 confirmed fatalities has now been reported with a tornado earlier today near Fayetteville, NC. The Goodyear Plant in Fayetteville, NC has received major damage as well. A school in Fayetteville has been destroyed as well. Here is a collection of statements from this storm. This too has been a large long-track, destructive tornado as well!! I hope to have a photo from this storm in the next day or two.

I have had a couple of Twitter followers mention to me that they knew people affected by this storm. Their reports to me were that the cars were smashed. And even one of my followers reported that a friend of theirs had minor injuries from the storm as well.
