845 am Nowcast for Oklahoma; Flurries Possible in Northern Oklahoma This Morning

Not a misprint there. Some areas near Woodward, Enid, Ponca City & Alva could see rain & snow showers this morning. Temperatures and upper level dynamics should support a few flurries mixed with the flurries. More with the 845 am nowcast, which is below

A strong storm system over Kansas will result in very strong winds throughout the day today across Oklahoma and western North Texas. Sustained wind speeds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts around 50 mph will be likely across much of central and western Oklahoma and western North Texas… with some gusts to 60 mph possible across western Oklahoma. The strong winds…along with temperatures in the 40s across much of central and northern Oklahoma…will create wind chill temperatures in the 30s this morning. Otherwise…a few light rain or light snow showers will be possible across northern Oklahoma this morning
