7 PM Nowcast for Oklahoma City/Dryline Update 4

At 7 PM… a cold front extended from Okemah to just northwest of Ada to Davis to Ardmore Oklahoma… to Saint Jo and Jacksboro Texas. Showers and thunderstorms were beginning to develop along the front across northeastern Oklahoma as far southwest as Okmulgee… with another shower developing in north central Texas south of Bowie. Additional showers and thunderstorms may develop this evening along the front in south central and eastern Oklahoma. Gusty winds continued across western Oklahoma where west winds of 10 to 20 mph were gusting above 30 mph at times. Humidity also remained very low with humidity values of 8 to 15 percent across portions of western Oklahoma and western North Texas… and 15 to 30 percent across other areas to the west of the front.
